Mateo Kristoff, Director of Sales and Marketing, Command Access Technologies. Mateo has worked for Command Access for over seven years. He started in the warehouse and worked his way up, performing many roles within the company. He pioneered the Command Access youtube channel, which provides customers a valuable resource when using retrofit electric hardware. He brings an extensive knowledge of the inner workings of products and installation. Over the past two years he has transitioned into the role of sales leader, managing a team of seven inside sales and tech support personnel, and an independent rep network in both the US and Canada.

Ralph Perlman has been a Manufacturers’ Representative for 38 years. Perlman Associates is known for promoting security products through education. Ralph and his company have pioneered numerous Division 8 manufacturers.

Fred Collier has 45+ years of experience in the physical security industry working as a locksmith business owner, distributor sales representatives, sales manager, National Account Sales Manager, Vocational Locksmith School owner and factory trainer for Adams Rite and Command Access. Fred taught the Adams Rite class for the Yankee Security Convention in 2008. He is an ALOA certified instructor and has taught various lock and hardware classes and low voltage electrical hardware classes on a national level for ALOA, various state organizations, and distributors for the last 20+ years.

Clyde Roberson, CML, CMST, AHC, CPP. Clyde is the Medeco Factory Trainer and Director of Product Management and Technical Services. He has been active in the locksmith industry for over 30 years, conducting training seminars for ALOA, ASIS, DHI, ELF, regional associations, Medeco and ASSA ABLOY specializing in high security cylinders, master keying and key control

Joey Dalessio  Keyincode, LLC. Joey is a successful product of the lock and security channel with an unequaled passion for keeping the channel alive”. His career spans over forty years, starting as a locksmith trained in the family business, and evolving to a Regional Independent Sales Rep, and National & Global positions in Executive Management in Wholesale Distribution and Manufacturing. Joey is recognized as a “Business Catalyst” and an inspiration to lock and security business owners Coast to Coast

Rodrigo Serzedello is the founder and CEO of Instafob, the first company in the USA to produce a proprietary Key Fob copy machine for locksmiths and hardware stores. He has a graduate degree in technology information from Mackenzie Institute and worked as a developer and entrepreneur for almost 15 years, always finding ways to fill new gaps in the market with potential high demand products.

Rodger Schmidt is an ALOA Certified ACE Instructor. Rodger has over 22 years of experience in access control, security and fire services. Rodger’s first position in the industry was as a service coordinator for Sonitrol of Arizona. He moved up to customer service, sales, project management, trainer and finally Service Repair Manager for Sun Devil Fire and Security, the largest fire service provider in Arizona prior to it being sold to Cintas. During his 7 years with Sun Devil Fire and Security, Rodger was instrumental in the growth of annual sales from $8 million to over $15 million in a three-year period. 

He helped train individuals to become successful sales reps. He developed a training program for service technicians who required certifications to provide fire services that included the design of an operational fire test center for sprinklers, fire alarms, kitchen hood systems and fire extinguishers. He is a member of the Arizona Fire Marshals Association. He has been a presenter at the California Fire Prevention Center, the Arizona Fire School, and the Arizona Building Code Officials conference. Rodger retired from active duty and military reserve service in 2003.

He currently works for ASSA ABLOY in their Phoenix, AZ facility for HES/Securitron/Adams Rite and Alarm Controls as a national trainer for the Electromechanical Group. He has conducted over 600 classes in his first 4 years with ASSA ABLOY, including product specific sessions, codes, site surveys, system design, applications and installation. He continues to provide educational programs for code officials across the country covering standards from ICC and NFPA codes for the installation of electronic locking hardware.

Tom Tusing started his locksmithing career in 1984. Seeing a need in the automotive side of the industry, he opened The Car Openers, Inc. and specialized in automotive locks. He has been making keys for cars for over 35 years. During this time, as car locks became more intricate, he developed THE DETERMINATOR TOOL for decoding car locks which has been used in the locksmith industry for over 20 years. Tom also created a HIGH SECURITY KEY ORIGINATION MANUAL with over 500 pages of steps needed in making laser type keys. In 2015, with Greg Chambers and a few others, THE DIAGNOSTIC BOX USA was created.

Scott Said has been with Lockmasters since early 1998 and has become an invaluable member of the Safe Lock Department. His 20+ years of experience with electronic and mechanical locks makes him a great resource to our customers as well as our students. Scott teaches two of our one day safe courses as well as few days of our week-long safe training courses. He is a regular instructor for SAVTA, ALOA and other regional trade shows and associations. He prides himself on staying up to date on the newest locks and keeping his class materials current. Scott also heads up our AMSEC and Gardall Safe Sales, which have been thriving. Whether Scott is helping a customer on a tech call, working a trade show or teaching a safe course, you can expect to always get 110%.

Rich Conroy, CRL, CPS, Business Development Consultant for the Locksmith Channel of Allegion, plc. Rich got his start in the locksmith profession while he was still in grade school. He has over 40 years in the business, including Safe and Vault work, Commercial and Banking service and Electronic and Biometrics Access Control. Rich’s credentials include CRL (ALOA) and CPS (SAVTA) and was one of the early members of IAIL. Rich has been with Allegion (formerly Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies) for over 18 years.

Don Cherry, PSP, CCPR is an EAC Sales Consultant for the New England office of Allegion, plc, formerly Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies. Don has been in the Security Hardware and Locksmith industries for over 30 years. Don specializes in electrified and electronic hardware. He is certified as a Physical Security Professional (PSP) with ASIS (American Society of Industrial Security), and a Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPR) with the Construction Specifications Institute, and is a member of the Door Hardware Institute.

Steve Monroe, AHC, FDAI, CDT, has been in the hardware profession for almost 30 years, first as an independent representative, and the last 18 working for Allegion plc, formerly Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies. He is a Distributor Representative and Training Coordinator for the New England Region for Allegion. Steve is certified as an Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC) from the Door and Hardware Institute, a Construction Document Technologist (CDT) from the Construction Specifications Institute and a Certified Fire Door Assembly Inspector (FDAI) with the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI). Steve has presented at Yankee many times in the past.

Mark Szczepanski is with M.A.S. Associates and has been representing DormaKaba branded companies and products in the New England area since the late 90’s. He has hosted several educational events throughout New England including classes at prior Yankee Security Conventions. Mark has extensive knowledge of the DormaKaba products, including application, system design, deployment, and troubleshooting techniques.

Joe Lederman is with M.A.S. Associates rep agency based in New England. Joe is well versed in the locksmith industry and has performed demos, presentations and training sessions for both private and institutional lock shops. Joe has exhibited and provided educational seminars for several manufacturers at previous Yankee Security Conventions.

Chris Chase has been in the locksmith industry since 1998 and has worked in all aspects of the profession. His experience runs from being a mobile locksmith to business management and daily operations. He is a project manager on large and new construction projects specializing in doors, frames and hardware. He currently teaches several classes for ALOA in different areas of basic locksmithing.

Andy Phelps, CRL, CAI, has been a Locksmith in Tennessee for over 25 years, starting as a one-man mobile shop. He moved to Nashville in 2004 where, as a member of ALOA, he passed the PRP and received the designation of CRL which he has kept current since. While in Nashville, he broadened his business to include automotive transponder key generation as well as more commercial and residential locksmithing. In 2010, after the state mandated locksmiths to be licensed, he saw the need for continuing education courses and started the Locksmith Academy of Tennessee. He offered classes including interchangeable core servicing, automotive key identification, automotive key generation, and transponders. In 2010, Andy became the shop manager of a locksmith shop in Nashville managing 5 field technicians. He left the shop in 2012, reopened his mobile shop and in September of that year became the National Training Manager for Adam Lock where he continues his passion for teaching.

Jacob “Jake” Feinberg: Carl’s Locksmith Service, CRL, CPS grew up in the family business his father started in 1970. He specializes in high security safe and vault openings and will travel wherever he is needed. He collects high security safe lever locks and started making his own tools to defeat them. He is always traveling to the latest classes and conventions to stay abreast of the current changes in the industry and expand his knowledge. He has taught for local associations and is a past president of the Massachusetts Locksmith Association (MLA).

Mariusz Sobanski is the owner and founder of CarAndTruckRemotes.com, one of the leading online OEM keyless remote distributors since 2005. Mariusz has been actively teaching and helping auto locksmiths and security professionals, conducting classes at many locksmith trade shows including Just Cars, and recent Alabama, North Carolina and Texas shows.

Ed Woods, Lockout Express, LLC: CML, CPS, CAL is an automotive locksmith specialist with many years working in the automotive industry. Ed is a consultant to many manufacturers of automotive tools and equipment. He is a longtime member of ALOA and a certified ACE instructor. Ed is a three-time recipient of the ALOA ACE Instructor of the Year award. Ed is currently a full-time locksmith employed at Indiana based Lockout Express, LLC.

Jeff Baker has been with STRATTEC for over 20 years in various positions including quality engineering, distribution warehousing, customer service management, locksmith and distributor training (including design of course and hands-on exercises) and sales. He is based out of the manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is currently the Distributor Sales and Export Manager for the North American market, supporting the locksmith community as well as dealer accounts.

Mark Bernstein, Builders Lock & Hardware. After a successful career in Economic Development, Mr. Bernstein founded Builders Door & Hardware in 1986 as a “Division 8” distributor of commercial hollow metal, wood doors and hardware. By the year 2000, Commercial and Residential architectural hardware had become the main focus and the companies name was changed to Builders Lock & Hardware to better reflect the nature of the business.
Builders Lock is a factory direct distributor of high-end architectural hardware and specialties. 

Brands include Rocky Mountain, Baldwin, Omnia, FSB, Valli & Valli, Merit Metal, Pemko, Frank Allart, Samuel Heath, Rixson, Norton, Yale, and others. In 2005, Builders Lock became a stocking distributor for Hoppe Multi-point locking systems.
